Cattleya Orchid from my personal collection. This cattleya orchid blooms only once a year with gigantic 8" blooms. The scientific name of this orchid is Blc. Mahina Yahiro 'Ulii' x Lc. Mildred Rives 'Orchidglade'. I love the very large frilly lip of this orchid, it reminds me of a dancer's long dress. To accentuate this, I converted the image to black and white.
